The Syrasoft Mobile/Record Storage Module combines with the Syrasoft Management System software to easily track and charge rent for mobile storage containers and/or record file boxes. Each storage container and/or file box is labeled with a bar code identifying the box number. Each box location is also labeled with a bar code. The Barcode Scanner(s) is then programmed so operators scan a box/container followed by a location. This information is held in the scanner and then later downloaded into the Syrasoft Management System software. Once the information is  downloaded, the new location of each box is in the system. Each box has a location field that is updated with scanner download information. Operators who manage a small number of containers can manually type the location of the container/box in the location field for the rental unit instead of interfacing the barcode reader.
