Quick Assist
Quick Assist provides a way for owners to connect directly to their facilities’ computers with just a couple clicks of the mouse by the facility manager.
A host component is customized for your company infrastructure and is available for your managers to access in the File menu of Storage Management. The button pictured above as “Syrasoft.com” can be set to open any website or File Transfer Protocol (FTP) address of your choice. An invitation is sent to the viewer’s computer when the manager double-clicks the corresponding name in the list.
A viewer component is installed on the computer of each of the listed names. Once initiated, a dialog is displayed on the screen for the viewer to confirm the connection initiated by the personnel at the facility. This is especially convenient on laptops because this operation works as long as both computers have an internet connection.
The third component that allows this utility to work is installed on a server that is always on and connected to the internet. It is this computer that relays the connection between the host and viewer computers. Syrasoft will most likely have to coordinate with your network technician to configure the necessary files and firewall settings.

* - Quick Assist utilizes the UltraVNC Single Click software under the GNU General Public License. Syrasoft will configure the said software and integrate it into Storage Management for a nominal fee.
